Meet our founder
Becoming a mum changed everything - my time, my priorities, my sense of self. I adore my toddler, but I also remember those early days of exhaustion, longing for just a little breathing room. It took courage to admit I needed help, and even more to be okay with paying for it and having a stranger in my home.
But when I finally did, everything shifted. I reached out to nannies on a local community Facebook group, found incredible people, and suddenly, I had space - not just to survive but to enjoy motherhood and reconnect with the parts of myself that existed before.
Whether it was grabbing a coffee alone, catching up on work without distraction, or simply taking a deep breath, those small pockets of freedom made me a better, more present parent.
That’s why I built NOD. Not just to offer childcare, but to give parents the flexibility to live life on their terms. To work, to rest, to have a social life, to fill their cup - without guilt.
Because parenting isn’t about doing it all alone.
